World of Enchantment: Harbor Square
Sitting on the Southern bank of the Rivers of America is an elegant port recreating San Francisco at the turn of the Twentieth Century, where the city was at its height prior to the 1906 Earthquake. Although this is a smaller area compared to the rest of the park, it is still interesting to see.
Coming in from the secret passage in Main Street or the bridge from Frontierland, guests find themselves in a harbor town overlooking the waterfront. Here, they can find a selection of dining options, including Ghiradeli Chocolate, Dockside Cafe, and Quaker Burger. Located south of these buildings is a show, The New Americans, an audio-animatronic show about American immigrants. Barbary Department Store is a gift shop located nearby.
Near this part of the wharf is a Chinatown area. Here, guests can walk through The Garden of the Twelve Friends, where the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac are depicted as Disney characters. This is similar to a garden seen in Shanghai Disneyland. Located in the back of the area is Secrets of Chinatown, an original dark ride. It exits into the Chinatown Traders shop on the right. On the left is the Mandarin Kitchen. Tai Chi sessions and Chinese Acrobats can be found around here too.
At the end of the wharf is the rest of the experiences the area has to offer. This features two shops, Bayside Gifts and Museum of the Weird. There is also a cable car that has been converted into a Taco Truck nearby. At the end of the wharf is a recreation of the Winchester Mystery House, where the Haunted Mansion is housed.

There is a bit more I could've done with this area, I admit. However, I wanted to avoid using Alcatraz and Lombard Street because they weren't functioning in San Francisco at this time. I also decided to put in the New Americans show here because I wanted to have an American history show. Disneyland has Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and the Magic Kingdom has the Hall of Presidents, (not to mention, Epcot has the American Adventure) so I decided to have a historical show here too. With San Francisco being a hotspot for Asian immigrants, I thought it would be a good fit.
