World of Discovery: Pandora: The World of Avatar

  Travel to a world beyond belief, similar to Earth but different in many ways. This is Pandora, a distant moon whose people have a deep connection to nature, and guests are invited by Alpha Centauri Expeditions to see this place. When coming in from City of Nature, guests come across the entrance of the land, a strange, pod-shaped object that spews mist several times in the day. Going further brings them into the Valley of Mo'ara, an interactive area. To the left, they can get their faces painted at the Colors of Mo'ara or search for the Na'vi Shaman of Songs while seeing the forces of nature in balance on Na'vi River Journey. Further to the right is the entrance into Avatar Flight of Passage, where guests virtually ride Mountain Banshees and fly over Pandora. World of Discovery: City of Nature

  Located left to the City of Tomorrow is this area, which celebrates the natural world. On land, air, and sea, guests can learn about the nature of the world we live in. LAND PAVILION The first pavilion of this area is the largest pavilion in the World of Discovery. Here, guests come into an African village, where the Festival of the Lion King plays. They can also embark on two journeys involving animals: Pride Land Safaris and Harambe Wildlife Trails. Also here is the Trader's Market and the Safari Shack restaurant. SEA PAVILION Next to the Land Pavilion is the newest facility of the Marine Life Institute, the Sea Pavilion. Here, guests are allowed to take part in Nemo and Friends Searider, a motion simulator where guests are shrunken to the size of a fish and travel through the seas with Nemo.   This is a showcase of the greatest technological advancements of the day. Here, in three pavilions, guests can see the technological marvels of the world, with a touch of Disney in it. DIGITAL PAVILION Located to the right of the Space Pavilion, there is the second-largest pavilion in the park. The main attraction here is TRON Lightcycle Power Run, the fastest ride in the resort. It exits into the Digital Design Studio. Also in the pavilion is The Art of Digital, and exhibition, and Lightcycle Power Co., a shop. ROBOTICS PAVILION In a large tech-themed area is where robotics are displayed. Here, guests can look at The Robotic Exhibits, showcasing the robotic marvels of today. Also here is a ride, Big Hero 6: Robot Rampage, a shooter ride where you help defend San Fransokyo against an army of rogue robots. The ride exits into Tech Trove, a gift shop.   This area is a tribute to a bright and hopeful future. Here, guests will look to the horizons and see how humanity might progress, and in turn, they will be inspired to create that future. Before going near any Pavilions, guests go through an area known as "the tail." This is where they can find help and services at Discovery Central and shop at the Discovery Store, the biggest store in the park. There is also a statue of Walt Disney standing in front of a model of Progress City, his first draft of his proposed "Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow." CENTURY PAVILION The park's Icon is a giant, metal pyramid pointing to the sky. This pyramid houses an attraction: Century, a ride where guests can choose their own future from the present, similar to the former Horizons attraction.   Part educational park, part entertaining park, this is a place where the universe is celebrated. Inspired by Epcot, this park aims to showcase the best of the universe and how guests can connect with it. In four areas, guests can find many things to do, and perhaps, get a better understanding of the world they live in. Areas of the park: City of Tomorrow Future Pavilion Space Pavilion World Pavilion City of Technology Digital Pavilion Robotics Pavilion Animation Pavilion City of Nature Land Pavilion Sea Pavilion Air Pavilion Pandora: The World of Avatar These areas and their attractions will be gone over in later posts.

Events at World of Enchantment

  Enjoy several events happening in World of Enchantment: Lunar New Years A special display is placed in the Chinatown region of Harbor Square, featuring a golden frame around the zodiac year. Special food, merchandise, and other things can be bought as well. Festival of Princesses and Pirates Here is where guests can choose to embark on adventures with Princesses and Pirates. Special decor and merchandise is seen around the park, as well as special experiences. This includes a treasure hunt, magic journeys, and  Halloween Time The Halloween season has come, and with it, the park has been transformed into a spooky wonderland. Here, guests can marvel at the pumpkin display on Main Street, catch eerie entertainment such as a new firework show, stage show, and parade, and even go trick-or-treating in the park. Holidays Christmas time is here, and what better way to celebrate it than at Disneytopia? Carolers come to main street, which has been decked with holiday cheer, snow cover...

Entertainment at World of Enchantment

  Here is some entertainment found in World of Enchantment: Mickey's Magnificent Parade Featuring a wide range of Disney characters, this parade starts at the square in Main Street before working its way up to the hub. Then it goes through the circus in Fantasyland and ends in a spot between the Beast's castle and "It's a Small World." With twelve floats and several musical themes, it's a great parade to see. Disney's Dreams of the Night This show combines lights, projections, fireworks, and fountains to create a one-of-a-kind nighttime performance. Here, guests join Mickey on a journey through fantastic worlds of wonder and imagination, featuring scenes and songs from many Disney films.

World of Enchantment: Tomorrowland

  In the southeastern corner of the park is Tomorrowland, an optimistic land where science and science fiction collide. From journey to space to technological advancements of our day, it's one area that is totally out of this world! When coming in from the hub, guests first approach a large fountain, which serves as the marker for the land. Going into the land, they find two space-themed experiences. On the left is Buzz Lightyear's Laser Run, a new take on the ride with improved aiming. On the right is Stitch Encounter, where guests interact with Stitch in a Turtle Talk-esque show. The former ride exits into Star Command, a gift shop. These two attractions lead down to a hub, where Jet-Pacs stand in the center. Towering over that is Space Mountain, the classic roller coaster. It exits into Astro Store. The Constellation Dome, a show that views Constellations, is also in the area, alongside the Star Liner Diner. World of Enchantment: Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

  A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, guests were able to travel to the Star Wars universe and embark on their own adventures. Here on the petrified spire planet of Batuu, guests go to Black Spire Outpost, where a secret battle between the Resistance and the First Order is raging. When coming in from a tunnel out of Fantasyland, guests first come across a Resistance base. Here, they can board Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the groundbreaking attraction where guests go on a mission but are captured by the First Order and must escape. Near the exits of the ride is Resistance Supply. Going further into the land, guests find the town of Black Spire itself. Guests can enter through many ways. One way is through a bazaar, where they can access several shops, including Toydarian Toymakers, Jewels of Bith, Black Spire Outfitters, Kat Settle's Kettle, and Creature Stall. World of Enchantment: Fantasyland

  This is the largest area of the park, and the only one with two entrances from the hub. Here, guests are invited to enter the worlds of their favorite fairy tales. In several themed zones, they can find themselves in fantasy locations of magic and wonder. Located in the front of the area is the Enchanted Fairytale Castle , a large castle with multiple experiences in it. In the center are several mosaics of Disney Princesses with a large, open space in the middle. Additionally, four experiences are inside it. This includes Bippiti Boppiti Boutique, where guests can become knights and princesses, Royal Banquet Hall, a restaurant, Magical Merchandise, a gift shop, and the joining place for Disneytopia Defenders, an interactive game where guests battle Disney Villains throughout "portals" hidden in the park, similar to the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. World of Enchantment: Adventureland

  Welcome to a land of adventure, where guests can travel to exotic places in the world. This area, located in the northwestern corner of the park, features several bold attractions that place them in amazing locations. Aside from that, they can also see glimpses of Polynesia, South America, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia. When coming in from the hub, guests first enter a Polynesian village. In the center is where the Liki Tikis will spray guests on hot days. On the left side of the village is Tangaroa Terrace, an outdoor restaurant, and the Island Supply  gift shop. On the right is Aloha Isle, famous for its Dole Whip ice cream, and an updated version of the Enchanted Tiki Room. On the far side of the area is a covered pavilion where We Know the Way: A Celebration of Moana is found. It is a stage show recreating Moana's journey with authentic Polynesian dances, stage performers, puppetry, and music. To the left of this Polynesian area is an outpost in the Amazon rainforest...

World of Enchantment: Frontierland

  Located on the northern shore of the Rivers of America is an area that further expands on American history, culture, and settlement. This is where the Wild West meets the heart of Dixie, as well as the great outdoors, all in this big area. Entering from Main Street, guests first enter a New Orleans-themed area. Here, guests might occasionally hear Jazz Musicians playing. On the right is Crescent City Cafe, a restaurant, along with the shops Mardi Gras Merchandise and New Orleans Boutique. To the left is French Quarter Store, and more notably, Tiana's Palace, which overlooks the Rivers of America. Nearby that is the bridge to Harbor Square and the port for the Frontierland Riverboat Landing. Located further to the right is the entrance to Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which has its boarding area and final scenes on land while the "mountain" part of the ride is on an island.
